The Working Of A Diesel Water Blaster

High-pressure cleaners come in seven parts. These are the pressure washer, motor, intake valve, pump pressure hose, gun, and spray wand. The intake valve is attached to the garden hose supplying the water. Once the washer is activated, the motor powers the pump to pressurize the water. From there, the water shoots through the pressure hose to the gun where it stops the motor. The gun’s trigger is pulled and the motor starts up again and pushes water through the spray wand at high speeds.

Diesel Water Blaster – Understanding the Process

The entire process begins with the trigger. When the trigger is pulled, the motor will start and turn first. It will turn a plate in the cleaner at a speed of over 3k revolutions per minute. As the plate turn, its thick end will force the pistons of the cleaner to descend. 

The pistons are loaded with springs meaning that when the thick end of the plate turns away from the piston, the spring will push the piston up again to its initial point. And as they rise, they pull water inside the pump from a one-way pipe. The pistons allow water in. As the turning plate forces the pistons down again, they will press down and the water pulled into the pump. 

The water inside the pump can’t be compressed, which means it pushes against the walls of the pump and accumulates pressure. The water then looks for the place inside the pump with the least pressure to escape. That’s the one-way pipe for the high-pressure hose. The water jet out of the pipe to the gun where it’s directed through a final valve and goes to the place of lowest pressure is the wand nozzle. 

Amount of Water

About six liters of water goes through the nozzle of the pressure cleaner per minute. The electric water blaster may work a little differently but the concept is the same. Note that the nozzle of the end of a wand is usually smaller than the hose. As the water escape through the nozzle the water pressure rises and so does its speed.

That allows the water to be clean. The spray wand jets the cleaning power by adjusting its width. The great thing about a high-pressure cleaner or diesel water blaster is that it uses little water as it turns water into turbo water.
